• Embee recognized the need to create a Data Warehouse to collect and analyse the large amounts of unstructured data. The team used SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to transform the data and load on an on-premise Data Warehouse and SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) to build an accurate data model. Data fed to the model was presented in customized, user-friendly PowerBI Dashboards.​ ​
• The highly customized data-model gave the customer access to: TRP Calculation, Prime-time trends, channel-wise performance and geography-wise performance. ​

• Sales and inventory analysis at granular a level helped improve business performance. ​​
• Insights to customer trends made the business more agile. ​​
• Newly available insight measured store and individual employee performance, increasing accountability. ​
• Customers reactive inventory management approach was replaced by a systematic approach, optimising costs.

• Embee used Azure Data Factory to load the data to Azure SQL Database. Azure Analysis Service was used to build data models which were then connected to Power BI
• This solution enabled them to achieve a holistic view of their business in terms of Production, Import/Export, Financial Statements, Collections, Consignment deliveries, Inventory, Financial planning​

• Adoption of the DaaS solution has helped them save on the hardware refresh of distributed IT infrastructure.​
• Embee has setup networking in Azure with multiple Subnets, NSG and established a site to site connection with the customer’s Data Center.
• We also published the Cisco and Avaya softphones on WVD and enabled the users to dial out from WVD machines and Audio redirection was configured to optimize audio delivery.​
• Automation was set up to achieve cost optimization.

Embee recommended a desktop and application virtualization solution built on top of Embee’s nimble and architecture model.

• High Octane Performance– Embee implemented a hypervisor to support the customer in the creation and management of virtualized server infrastructure. ​
• Network & Server Load Balancing– We used the XenServer Workload Balancing Virtual Appliance and NetScalar MPX 5500 to ensure dynamic load balancing enabling fast and secure data and application delivery with high availability.
• Consistent and Familiar User Experience- Our solution allowed the customer’s IT administrators to have a single instance image management of all VMs. This delivered two major benefits – easier VM management and consistent user experience across users and devices.​

• ​Improved execution and productivity; use of automated templates helped to save time that was previously required for completing the documentation process.​​​​
• Automation of approval processes improved reliability and eliminated delays.​
• SharePoint built-in security features bolstered security for the customer’s critical data.​ ​​

• Built on the cloud, the solution displayed cost benefits too.

Embee’s team is constantly working with the customer’s team to understand new challenges and automate even more parts of their plant commissioning process to further simplify and gain productivity improvements.

• Cost-Savings through a hybrid solution: Embee’s hybrid on-premise and cloud approach helped the customer drive cost-savings while also bolstering security. Key accounts with sensitive data were stored on secure on-premise servers, while the remaining accounts were implemented in the cloud to benefit from the available intense security and scalability.
• Improved User Satisfaction: The latest features provided by Exchange and the additional enhancements made by Embee provided the customer’s employees with a new solution that was convenient, easy to use and customized to their needs.

• Assured Data Safety. The solution included encryption, identity and authorization policies along with a robust rights-based access system to ensure data protection. ​
• Enhanced Productivity. The workforce was now able to access emails, access other applications and connect with others via skype enabling them to work seamlessly​
• Improved employee satisfaction. The solution led to the implementation of a BYOD policy.

The EMS included three foundational tools to enhance mobile workers productivity: Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Azure Rights Management.

• ​We used Azure Logic App, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB to provide a highly scalable and available solution.​
• OMS was used for proactive monitoring of the services.
• The usage of Logic App helped in designing the workflows in a simpler way.​​
• No of Errors are negligible now and significantly improved error resolution time.​
• Improved Productivity: Newer Workflow development is faster compared to older technology.

• We identified Microsoft’s VDI / RDS (Remote Desktop Service)/ Apps hosted on Azure addressed all their concerns.​
• Built the VDI base infrastructure on Azure, utilising VMs, Network Load Balancing, Storage, Express route gateway, MFA services, Backup etc.
• Enabled the VDI infra on Azure in HA mode, including MPLS connectivity to Aegon’s Primary and DR Data Centre, enabling the team to access core/intranet apps from Azure.​
• Built and segregated the network LB i.e. one for the intranet network and another for the internet network.​
• Integrated Azure MFA (Multifactor Authentication) to allow users to connect to their RDS apps on the internet with additional authentication, either through phone-call or through the Microsoft Authenticator App.​

• Embee used different tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and ARM (Azure Resource Management) template. ​
• We created CI and CD to check-in and check-out from the source code pipeline.​
• we utilized Azure Kubernetes and Azure Functions while implementing DevOps practices.
• We also created the Git repository which is called the bank of source code.​
• The new solution enabled the team of developers to track the code, make changes in source code, and upload them again.​
