A leading bank headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the retail-focused Non-Banking Finance Company for two decades provided speedy and customized population. After bagging the Small Finance Bank (SFB) license in 2015, the financiers of the company commenced its journey as an SFB on 19th April 2017. In the same year, they got the Scheduled Bank status on 1st November and became a Fortune India 500 Company.
Throughout their journey from an NBFC to a Bank, they have focused on solutions, based on the evolving needs of their customers. As custodians of depositor’s wealth, the Bank ensured highest level of compliance throughout and emerged as a well-governed and trusted financial institution supported by the guiding principles of inclusivity, progress for all, simplicity, and action & urgency.
Challenges Faced by the Customer: –
Our customer provides financial solutions to various end clients and their applications are accessed by employees in a secure manner within their premises. Due to the hybrid environment adoption, employees were unable to access end user applications using their own devices.
Therefore, they wanted to enable their employees to work in a secure hybrid environment and needed a dynamic solution for this. Embee provided the solution using AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) and availed remote working capabilities under which all employees can now work using their own devices with all security measures required as per the customer policy.
Solution:
We implemented Azure Virtual Desktop on Azure establishing private connectivity between on-premises and Azure. With this Users can access their application via Remote Desktop Client using their Laptop/mobile/MacOS/Computer.
Technology Used-
- Azure Virtual Desktop is hosted on Azure. More than 500 users are deployed in the Azure AD and AVD application group.
- Applications are built on various technologies that need to be accessed in a secure manner ensuring data integrity and security.
Impact of the Solution:
Embee supported the customer with the cost-effective solution by offering AVD. Automation reduced operating costs drastically. Using app and desktop users can also work in hybrid environment where they get access to all the applications without any dependencies.
