Softline Group will strengthen its pan-India presence and capabilities through Embee’s expertise across cloud solutions, workplace modernization products, system integration services, managed services and app services.

At the moment, there has merely been an acquisition, not a merger. The two companies in India, Embee and Softline India will continue to run as independent organisations, with their own employees and processes. Mr. Sudhir Kothari along with the rest of Embee Leadership team will continue to run the company and compete with Softline India among other companies in the Indian market, continue our own business contracts and manage our own customer engagements. There will be no change in day-to-day work procedures. The merger process will commence when all the regulations and legal processes are approved. Once we are at that stage, we will certainly reach out with further information. This arrangement is aligned with the NOC letter obtained from our top partners.
As part of the transaction, the formal merger process is expected to be finalised within the next 18 months leading to a complete integration of the platforms. Advisors to the transaction included KPMG Corporate Finance, Backbay Advisors, PDS Legal and Radhika Singh & Associates.
